EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT ME
I was born February 12 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am a middle child
in a family of three. I have one older brother, Duke, and a younger sister, Jennifer. It seems as if my family has lived all
over. Like I said I was born in Tulsa, but I grew up in South Carolina. We probably lived in about 5 different house.
When I was 7 years old we moved back to Tulsa. This is were I spent the remainder of my school years. I graduated from Webster
High School. I played basketball, which is my favorite sport!
After High School I decided I wanted to work instead of going
straight to college. However, after working for about a year or so I realized I should be playing basketball for a college
team. So I tried out and guess what... I MADE IT! I was recruited by an NAIA school, Central Christian College located in
McPherson, Kansas. As a freshman I averaged about 18 points a game. Aside from playing basketball at Central I also met my
future wife! We decided to move to McAllen, her hometown. I wanted to play basketball for Pan Am, but didn't make it down
here in time for the tryouts.
Soon after we moved down here we decided to get married. So
we traveled back to Tulsa and got married there. We had a small ceremony. We were pronounced husband and wife on November
24, 2004. We wanted to start our family right away. So we had our first son on March 13, 2005. I wanted to name him Jesse
Jr, he looks just like me, but my wife said no. So we agreed upon Isaiah Lee Gleaton. Isaiah and I have the same middle name!
I was happy about that. Our second son was born June 23, 2006. His name is Noah Manuel Gleaton. I wanted to name him Espn,
but again my wife said no! So we once again agreed on Noah. His middle name has a special significance; we name him after
my wife's grandfather. With two boys we wanted to complete our family by having a girl. We were afraid that we might have
another boy, and anyone with two boys close in age will tell you they are a HANDFUL! So our third child was December 8, 2007.
IT'S A GIRL! Her name is Alexia Jewell Gleaton. I let my wife pick our daughter's name. Her middle name also holds a special
significance. Jewell was my grandmother's middle name, and I always wanted my daughter to have that name.
Now that we have our family I have returned to school. I am
currently working towards a Business Degree. Right now I am taking course to receive an associate in business here at South
Texas College. Then I am planning on transferring to Pan Am to finish my 4 year degree.
